The purpose of the Workforce Development & Continual Improvement department is twofold:

As Senior Engineer EHSS Assurance & Total Quality Management you are one of (future) six employees to report to the WFD&CI manager, who in turn reports to Sr. Manager EHSS - WFD&CI.

WFD&CI services all departments on manufacturing site Geleen that report to the site director. To enable this specifically in the field of EHSS Assurance and Total Quality Management, you as Lead Engineer are in close contact with SABIC colleagues, both on site Geleen as well as in other affiliates and corporate functions globally. You are the main point of contact for third party auditors and can rely on support from local quality engineers, a manager and an analyst EHSS Assurance (not in WFD&CI department).

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of your job as Senior Engineer EHSS Assurance & Total Quality Management is to support the organization to achieve better quality performance and document how we achieve efficient, customer fulfillment.

As Senior Engineer EHSS Assurance & Total Quality Management, your responsibilities are:

• Support the SABIC Geleen organization in establishing, implementing, controlling and maintaining a certified management system.
• Audits (in connection with certification by third parties, internal, from customers, at suppliers).
• Management review at site management level, plant level and department level.
• Consulting with respect to development of quality related policies, targets and work processes.
• Following up on developments in standards for management systems.
• Completing and filing questionnaires from customers.
• Controlling and upgrading of the Management System (in close cooperation with a manager and an analyst EHSS Assurance).
• Disclosure of regulations and developments in the field of quality.
• Controlling the management system of SABIC Europe and check on implementation through peer audits.
• Ensuring that the management system complies with:
  
  • The requirements of ISO9001, IATF16949, RC14001 (being a condition for certification).
  • The requirements/expectations for the organization (tool for description of the EHSS-policy, communication and governance structures, processes, procedures, instructions, references to relevant regulations etc.).
  
  
• Action tracking for actions related to quality and compliance audits.
• Supporting product stewardship activities in order to ensure responsible management of EHSS issues relating to SABIC Site Geleen products, meeting the requirements of the Responsible Care code of practice.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor/Master level with complementary quality training.
• Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in industry/business with working knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 and RC14001 management systems.
• Preferably certified as (internal) auditor for fore mentioned management systems.
• Good command of Dutch and English language.
