DEPARTMENT

The purpose of the Workforce Development & Continual Improvement department is twofold:

  • Monitoring and improving the competencies of all departments.
  • Driving the manufacturing excellence vision with the objective of fostering continual improvement in site culture and value drivers across the site.

The Sr. Analyst Maintenance Excellence is one of (future) six employees to report to the WFD&CI manager.

WFD&CI services all departments on manufacturing site Geleen that report to the site director. To enable this, the Sr. Analyst Maintenance Excellence is in close contact with Sabic colleagues, both on site Geleen and in other affiliates globally.

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of the job as Sr. Analyst Maintenance Excellence is:

  • To assure the efficiency and enhance the effectiveness of Maintenance performance at the site and align with the OMS policy.
  • To ensure improvement by capturing value chain synergies between units via the Maintenance Excellence functions.

The Sr. Analyst Maintenance Excellence is responsible for:

  • Enhancing the organization using organization effectiveness techniques to better achieve goals with minimum waste.
  • Managing the capture and implementation of best practices and benchmarking.
  • Analyzing and issuing reports on Maintenance performance and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Translating learning from accidents/incidents into high-value road maps and actionable strategies for enhancing awareness programs at site.
  • Conducting audits to gauge compliance to OMS, developing strategies for improvement and identifying high-value focus areas.
  • Networking with other sites/affiliates for benchmarking against best practices and following through with implementation.
  • Organizing and conducting training, awareness campaigns, auditing, and inspections.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Chemical Engineering or comparable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt certified).
  • Good command of Dutch and English language.
