Vacature: Shipping Lead (m/f/d)

The Shipping Lead is responsible for coordinating and assisting with main activities of shipping/ Logistics department. The core activities include follow up on urgent topics on a daily base, import- and export activities, planning and organizing shipments in accordance with the business requirements, interaction with customer and drafting/ updating of documentation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Performs the core activities of Logistics department.
  • Responsible for importing and exporting shipments with correct information and documentation
  • Leads the team and monitors if team-members are performing tasks per effective procedure.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Customers and trade compliance procedures
  • Work with brokers, customs and regulators to ensure successful delivery of goods.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum B.Sc. within the Supply Chain or Business education related to the position
  • Familiar with Dutch and EU import/export regulations and laws
  • Dutch working permit
  • good communication skills with people from different backgrounds
  • pro-active person
  • Dutch language skills preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
