We are looking for experienced Scientists to work in the field of mRNA Process Development with strong evidence for delivering on commitments and working collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute advanced experimental plans and data analysis methods, write and review high quality reports
  • Provide strong scientific, technical and regulatory leadership at project level. Lead individual scientists and lab technicians on complex projects
  • Lead/support multi-disciplinary matrix teams on complex projects in the area of scientific expertise. Lead problem solving and lessons learned activities
  • Execution of cell based assays such as culture of adherent and suspension cells, infectious viral titer assays (plaque assay, focus forming assay, TCID 50 ), FACS, cell proliferation assays, cell death and survival assays, potency, transfection efficiency and expression assays
  • Proficient in molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, qPCR or ddPCR, sequencing (Sanger and Miseq), etc
  • Troubleshoot method challenges in a creative and controlled manner.
  • Understanding of data analysis tools and relevant statistical methods
  • Implementation of Design of Experiments (DoE), and qualification/validation for regulated analytical or bioanalytical assays
  • Act as a deputy of the team manager when needed and support the process development management
  • Lead training activities in the area of expertise

Key requirements:

  • PhD or Master in Biotechnology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related fields
  • Execute laboratory activities for development and implementation of bioassays for mRNA based
  • Experience working in a GxP environment is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in a range of analytical methods
  • Experience with mRNA and/or DNA based Therapeutics would be a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently work in a fast paced and fluid environment, changes in priority and timeline restrictions
