We are looking for experienced Scientists to work in the field of mRNA Process Development with strong evidence for delivering on commitments and working collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute and optimize synthesis and purification processes for mRNA and DNA.
• Write and review high quality experimental plans and data analysis methods.
• Provide strong scientific, technical and regulatory leadership at project level. Lead individual scientists and lab technicians on complex projects
• Lead/support multi-disciplinary matrix teams on complex projects in the area of scientific expertise. Lead problem solving and lessons learned activities
• Act as a deputy of the team manager when needed and support the process development management.
• Provide strong scientific, technical and regulatory leadership at project level. Lead individual scientists and lab technicians on complex projects.
• Lead training activities in the area of expertise.

Key requirements:

• MS/PhD in a relevant Science field or Equivalent
• Knowledge in in vitro transcription processes.
• Experience in DSP and Scale-up of biomolecules with a focus in Chromatography and Tangential flow filtration (TFF)
• Expert-level experience & understanding of purification of biomolecules. Experience in mRNA is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Chromatographic apparatus from Cytiva and TFF systems from Repligen and Sartorius is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently work in a fast paced and fluid environment, changes in priority and timeline restrictions
• Knowledge of technology transfer and GMP manufacturing.
• Implementation of DSP using pilot scale equipment, single-use systems, scale-up, process consistency, process control strategy
