The QC Associate will be responsible for planning and execution of daily microbiological assays and control activities while ensuring compliance with all existing GMP and safety standards in the area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Performance of the following microbiological assays:
• Growth promotion testing (raw material release, in-process samples)
• Bioburden testing (facility, IPC and final fill release samples)
• Gram staining
• Performance of validation/verification methods
• Preparation of in-house microbial libraries.
• Identification of microorganisms using VITEK-MS and preparing plates for external identification.
• General inventory of QC materials
• Documentation completion in line with GMP/GDP procedures

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in QC activities related to the job (microbiology and environmental monitoring).
• The position requires a very precise and responsible working attitude.
• Bachelor Degree in Scientific or Biological subject
• Intermediate or higher vocational education in biological sciences.
• Preferably experience with GMP and basic knowledge of microbiology (growth promotion, gram stain, sterility, identification) and environmental monitoring.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Accuracy, tidiness, self-organized, flexible, attention to detail.
• Team player
