As a Process Expert in Warehouse and Logistics at our site in Geleenyou are responsible for the optimization of processes within the supply chain department (warehousing, shipping, material planning) with the ultimate goal to improve (process) quality and to increase efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify improvement proposals, prepare business cases and project charters
• Process design, engineer solutions to ensure logistics processes remain compliant to GMP (and trade) regulations
• Support & lead improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizens, Gemba)
• Perform logistics data analyses and reporting, resulting in process improvement initiatives
• Optimization in use and configuration of ERP (WM module) system, throughout entire material flow
• Support in development and/or data input for new implemented software programs
• Support in inventory level optimization initiatives
• Support in shipping qualification and projects, setup of (program specific) transportation networks

Key requirements:

• Technical education in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar area is preferred
• Good industrial experience in Warehousing/Shipping/Material Planning and other Logistics areas
• English - proficient written and oral communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• Experience with (applying) LEAN manufacturing
• Experience with GMP regulations (FDA 21CFR annex 11, EudraLex volume 4) is an asset
• Good interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, self-directed, independent.
