The OT Infrastructure architect is responsible for planning and designing the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the Enterprise Architecture plan as well as internal policies and standards.

This role function sits within the OT Infrastructure department serving as a technical architect across the Infrastructure field. As a member of the Global OT Infrastructure team, the role provides support across all LONZA sites.

The Documentation associated with Change Management, System Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures is a key feature of this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise on technologies and design solutions (servers, storage, backup systems, application architectures…); ensuring compliance, proper documentation of assets, change control process is being followed and operating procedures are in place.

  • Networking (CISCO Catalyst)
  • SQL / Postgres
  • Veeam & Acronis Backup
  • Citrix
  • Windows & linux based physical and virtual servers & workstations (GPO Management, PS Scripts, AD Administration)
  • OpenShift Containerization
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  
  
• Single Point of Contact for any OT infrastructure related topics at the sites for external OT service providers providing governance and definition of standards.
• Drive continuous improvements, standardization and harmonization, to champion technical excellence, automation and simplification and to create an environment for innovation within the OT infrastructure systems.
• Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing infrastructure environments through the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of well documented standards and procedures for the implementation of scalable technical solutions
• Manage and drive the implementation of OT Infrastructure related projects to ensure they are completed in accordance with project goals, time scales and costs
• Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within OT scope
• Supporting the life cycle management of OT infrastructure required for business operations

Key requirements:

• Bachelor in Information Technology
• Business fluent in English
• Deep technical infrastructure knowledge
• Understand ITIL model and metrics for Service Delivery
• MCSE
• Advanced working experience within the field
