We are looking for a GMP Trainer to join our Operational Excellence team at Lonza Geleen. The GMP Trainer is responsible for providing, coordinating or developing on-boarding and skill related training. The activities of the GMP Trainer facilitate lean and standardized training, while maintaining the highest level of GMP adherence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate introductory trainings of new staff
  • Provide training such as GMP introduction, train-the-trainer, investigation and system related trainings as needed
  • Generate, track and report on training metrics (on-boarding time, rate of first-time-right qualification, etc…)
  • Suggests and implement training and qualification and process improvements
  • Work cross-functionally to periodically review and maintain training programs, including in LSO (i.e. content, training levels)
  • Assures link with Quality department to review reoccurring NCs and adapt training program or material accordingly, with the aim of reducing reoccurrences
  • Maintain a training repository. Ensure training materials are updated taking into account efficiency and effectivity, and in link with the Quality department
  • Generate, track and report on training metrics (on-boarding time, rate of first-time-right qualification, etc…)
  • Acts as a role model on GMP compliance.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor in scientific field with work experience in GMP manufacturing of Quality environment
  • Self-starter, excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels, able to tolerate challenging workload and changing priorities, attention to detail, work effectively and individually and with teams.
  • Knowledge of the global regulatory guidelines affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Uses broad expertise or unique knowledge and skills to contribute to the training development of company objectives and principles, and to achieve goals in creative and effective way.
  • Identifies and implement methods, techniques, procedures and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
  • Experience in delivering GMP training, and with electronic GxP training electronic platforms.
  • Strong coordinator and team player.
