Polyscope is a young, entrepreneurial and highly innovative Specialty Polymer global market player founded in 2006. They are the global leader in research, product development, production and supply of styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) copolymers, terpolymers and SMA-based derivatives. The global customer base of Polyscope is supported from the corporate headquarters and production plant at the Chemelot industry park in Geleen (Netherlands), by local sales offices in Asia and in the USA and by production facilities for the SMA-derivatives and SMA-compounds locally positioned around the world. To realize Polyscope ambitions we are looking for a:

Manager Continuous Improvement, QA & Qc

To make Quality part of the entire organization

The position

The main goal of the position is to make quality part of the entire organization by building a corporate mind-set to continuously improve and evaluate E2E processes, procedures and systems. The team consists of 4 dedicated colleagues. Continuous improvement:

  • Translation of the strategy of Polyscope into a roadmap to drive co-creation, continuous improvement and value creation within Operational-Business-Customer excellence processes;
  • Excite a co-creation and continuous improvement mindset respectively further strengthen the quality awareness and anchor this into the culture of the Polyscope organization;
  • Engage customers and other business partners into our approach;
  • Lead the co-design and implementation of a pragmatic improvement project pipeline and best practices & tools;
  • Implement the Management of Change process for all key processes throughout the organization;
  • Develop and coach a cross-departmental community of professionals consisting of Quality Specialists, auditors and continuous improvement ambassadors.

Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC):

  • Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems related to QA / QC that support the optimization of the Total Quality level of Polyscope;
  • Lead the co-design and implementation of an integral, standardized and pragmatic Quality Assurance Management System, best practices and tools;
  • Maintain the Quality Assurance Management System and implement improvements in processes and procedures. You ensure that these comply with and are in line with current laws and regulations;
  • Lead audits of systems, processes and products to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements;
  • Performing supplier assessments and possibly visit suppliers in consultation;
  • Coordinating and following up (critical) customer complaints.
Your profile:

The most important is to have the right personality! You are a co-creator, a catalyst with a drive to make others successful. With an open minded and authentic attitude you persuade colleagues to make Continuous Improvement and Quality part of the entire organization. To succeed you are analytical, self-propelling, tenacious, pragmatic, process minded and you easily connect people. To become successful you at least have a bachelor degree and minimal 3 years of experience preferably in a mid-size B2B company (100 – 300 employees; manufacturing industry environment). You master Dutch and English fluently and preferably German and/or French.
