R&D engineer Kriya Materials

We are looking for an experienced R&D engineer who is passionate to develop products in close contact with customers that have a positive impact on societal and environmental challenges. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced international environment and work within a small but cross-functional team to manage and formulate products, both coatings and master batches in-line with customers' needs based on organic and inorganic chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Design of experiments, and execution thereof based on customer input
• Continuous improvement on existing formulations
• Interpretation of internal test results, reporting to customers including conclusions and recommendations
• Selection of raw materials to be used based on know-how and materials characteristics
• Characterization of properties and interpretation for further fine-tuning by adapting concentrations, formulations, curing mechanism etc.
• Follow-up with customers, interpretation of their results, and where needed support at the customers location for pilot testing

Requirements

• You are a constructive team-member, who acts and understands that two know more..
• A professional representative person with excellent communication skills in at least Dutch and English.
• A BS or MS degree in Chemistry
• Solid technical background in coating processes, preferably roll to roll, film extrusion processes and / or glass processing
• Preferably 5 to 10 year’s experience in an international customer oriented R&D organization
• You are able to work independently, are precise and analytical with sense of responsibility and a safe working attitude
