As our Hospitality Officer, you’ll step into the role of our in-person + virtual Host for all employees and guests of the Cubic — our three-story hive of diverse global talents. This passionate band of techies, artists, and scientists works hard on groundbreaking products, and we want to give them a welcoming, nourishing, and inspiring environment. The Cubic will also act as 1) a worldwide training centre for onboarding new wellness specialists and 2) an innovation centre where healthy lifestyles and tech set industry standards for the future.

And that’s where YOU come in. With warmth, enthusiasm, and a fully proactive mindset, your energy and initiatives will make The Cubic feel like Home for every staff member and guest who graces our halls. Specifically, your responsibilities would include:

• HOSTING: welcoming colleagues and guests, you’ll ensure visitor experiences are welcoming, memorable, and effortlessly professional. Reception duties include general security, administration, mail, and more.
• CONNECTING: as the eyes and ears of The Cubic, you’re the main point of contact for all guests, as well as every employee away from their desk. You’ll also maintain and regularly update The Cubic website.
• ORCHESTRATING: you’ll organize, lead, and supervise everything from office events and parties, to workshops, conferences, and in-house classes. So we need you to take serious pride in running a tight ship that always sails smoothly. \with a good communication/information flow.
• REPRESENTING: harnessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be the public face of our one-of-a-kind operation in Geleen. Warm, welcoming, informed, helpful, capable, and kind — for starters.

Our Dream Match:

• SEASONED with real, comparable experience in a similar position (hotel and travel industry, conference centres, entertainment & leisure industry).
• ORGANIZED but also creative, innovative, and a self-starter.
• MOTIVATED and willing to take on a wide range of tasks independently.
• INTERESTED in building long-term professional relationships.
• FLUENT in conversation and business English (Dutch is a great bonus not required).
• FLEXIBLE to occasionally work special event evenings or weekends.
