Our ideal barista has a warm presence and an inviting personality. We want someone who looks forward to a quick chat with new and known acquaintances. We want a neat, well-groomed colleague to welcome colleagues and guests alike to our offices. We want the kind of drink-crafting skills that makes jaws drop.

What other skills would you need, you ask?

• Fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• A minimum of one to three years of experience as a barista or similar role in the industry.
• A latte art certificate would be awesome.
• Availability to work the occasional evening or weekend for special events is kind of important.

Possessing this sort of expertise makes you not only a wise coffee artist but also exactly the kind of sage we seek to fulfill the duties of our ideal barista:

• Crafting delicious drinks such as coffee, tea, latte art, smoothies.
• Preparing cocktails and mocktails during special events.
• Assisting with the preparation of breakfast, lunch and welcoming guests to the Cubic when your presence isn’t needed at the coffee bar.
