As IT Operations Architect you are involved in developing strategic plans for IT operations, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the IT environment, and aligning IT operations with business goals. The IT Operations Architect collaborates with various stakeholders to create efficient and robust systems that meet current and future needs, driving continuous improvement in operational practices and technology utilization. You are in the lead of the IT operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. In addition, you are in close contact with internal as well as external stakeholders.

In your role as a IT Operations Architect, these are some of your responsibilities:

• Designing and optimizing infrastructure; developing scalable and resilient architecture solutions to meet business needs.
• Operational Strategy and Planning; developing and maintaining technology roadmaps that guide our IT operations and infrastructure developments.
• Security and Compliance; designing and implementing security frameworks, as well as ensuring that IT operations are complying with regulations and internal policies such as GDPR, HIPAA or ISO 27001.
• Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery; developing and maintaining comprehensive disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Monitoring and Performance Management; implement and maintain monitoring tools and systems to trach performances, and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations.

What you bring

• A Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a related field. Including expierence in a leadership or Senior role.
• Proficiency with Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. In addition, hybrid could enviroments.
• Expierence with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V. In addition, containerization, such as Dockter and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
• You have a good understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and witten communication skills.
