As a Head of IT Operations Manager, you are dedicated to the alignment of people and tech. You will play a crucial role in the integration of new Boels companies: our One IT strategy. You will have the following responsibilities:

• 
  

  Manage several teams consisting of 35 IT professionals in total, including the hiring, training, and performance management to ensure that your teams are fully equipped to support the organisation's needs.

• 
  

  Oversee the day-to-day actions of IT operations including system administration, network management, and security. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and applications are running smoothly, keeping SLAs and addressing any issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.

• 
  

  Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. You will be responsible for reviewing the current processes and identifying areas of improvement to streamline the IT operations.

• 
  

  Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• 
  

  Collaborate with your colleagues in the IT management team and other departments to ensure that our technical infrastructure and platforms are aligned with business needs and objectives.

• 
  

  You will be responsible for managing the relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that they are meeting the organisation's needs.

• 
  

  Experience in budgeting and budget follow-up to ensure effective financial management of IT operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for a leader that can help us move forward. To help us do that we ask for:

• Bachelor's Degree or comparable level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Technical background and technical understanding in systems administration, network management, telephony, and IT security.
• Excellent communication and strong leadership skills to manage an international team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.
• An excellent level of English (spoken, written, listening, and reading)
